Taster days became less intimidating as you had a friendly face to guide you.

Opportunities to do audit arose from people who were already involved in the department. The same is true of research.

Applications became demystified due to regular discussion and guidance, from trainees who had just been through it.

We wanted to expand this experience.

Local Anaesthetics was thus born, and we’ve worked hard to make it a mutually beneficial programme for all involved.
